The nxtCycle Wave was meticulously engineered with cyclists in mind. No longer will cyclists have to dismount and leave the bike lane to place a call. This innovative device is all about redefining convenience and safety by placing the button at an optimal height within the bike lanes, enabling cyclists to place a call without risking pedestrian buttons or illegal crossings. The cyclist button is actuated with a wave of the hand and is part of our Wave lineup of active infrared sensors. Through thorough testing, we fully stand behind the fact that our sensors will not send faulty calls and have full capability to stand alone as a touchless cyclist button, without any mechanical push button functions. Our infrared sensors operate flawlessly in all weather conditions, from rain to snow, and have a hand motion detection range of 1-6 inches. Constructed from durable solid aluminum, the nxtCycle Wave exhibits resilience against vandalism and impacts. Moreover, the top of the station serves as a handle grip to provide stability for cyclists as they await the cross signal. Additionally, the button cup facilitates effortless mounting on poles of different sizes, and the pole relief channel guarantees a secure and snug fit. The nxtCycle Wave also offers the flexibility of operating in either momentary or latching LED mode, accompanied by an audible dee-dah tone signaling the successful placement of a call.
