Clearway’s Arica project in Riverside County is now online and providing San Mateo County and City of Los Banos residents with solar power over the next 15 years. The project also includes battery storage that allows the solar power to be used even without significant sunshine. We recently joined a ribbon-cutting celebration with fellow Community Choice Aggregation agencies Central Coast Community Energy, Clean Power Alliance, and Silicon Valley Clean Energy, and Arica project developer and owner Clearway Energy Group to jointly showcase how CCAs are leading the charge in helping California meet its ambitious climate goals by providing reliable and clean power for our customers.

New Brighton Area School District is adding solar to its campus. And, according to Superintendent Joseph Guarino, on-campus solar will result in savings that can then be reinvested into the school and community.
