I know some may be reluctant to donate to causes because it’s hard to see where your money goes. Below is a report by the Princess Margaret Cancer Research centre that I support through raising funds for the ride. Last year we raised over $17 million for the ride and you can see where that money goes. Cancer is Being Conquered Because of Donors Like You Two in five Canadians will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. On average, the Canadian Cancer Society estimates 233 Canadians die of cancer every day. With stats like this, the end of cancer might seem very far away. But not to us. Canadians have a greater chance of surviving than ever before — the survival rate has jumped from 25% in the 1940s to 64% today.
