What is the best lesson that you've learned being in the spiritual community that you're in with James Baldwin? We talked a little bit about love as a liberatory practice. That is the biggest and most important lesson I learned from Baldwin, that no matter what I'm facing. The hatred, the ignorance, the violence. Love is not a weakness as a response to those situations, you know, because people think you know, ohh, you're going to love the person bashing you over the head, but not love as a as a surrender. Love is a power because I can't do to you what you're doing to me because I'm not going to diminish my own humanity like you're doing it, but I'm going to instruct you on your I'm not going to let you beat me down because I love myself too. Love is one of the hardest things to embrace. It is not easy. Yeah. So it requires a an internal, an internal discipline that is beyond our ability to imagine. Yeah, that's what I think about love.
