I note that labour cost management in the US is as critical as here in Australia. Their wages are less than $10 per hour, compared to our Australian wages of between $30 and $55 per hour, depending on the days worked. Labour is what Inzenius cares about. #ThatsInzenius #Payroll

🎰‼️ Battle for Caesars Windsor: Three Gambling Titans Compete for Exclusive Casino License In Windsor, Ontario, a fierce competition is underway as three gambling giants vie for control of Caesars Windsor. The Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corp. (OLG) is reviewing offers for the casino's license, marking the first time it's up for grabs in 30 years. Caesars Entertainment Inc., a longstanding operator, faces competition from Bally's Corp. and Indigenous-owned Mohegan Gaming and Entertainment. The OLG is set to announce the new license holder by fall 2024, with the transition expected in 2025. Caesars Windsor plays a pivotal role in the city's economy, providing jobs and anchoring tourism. City leaders universally support Caesars, citing its track record and investment in the business. MGM floating the potential sale of their operating rights at MGM Northfield and MGM Springfield. Getting close in New York and looking to raise capital with these sales? No news on their corporate site? Being in the Ohio market, who wants the racetrack locations, who would consider that and who is eligible to be in the market? In both locations you must race live for a minimum number of days and permit holders have limits on the number per breed they can hold. MGM Northfield holds multiple permits, which is definitely a consideration for a potential suitor. Let the speculation begin. First potential candidate, see a lot of reasons for Boyd Gaming here, already in market, capital to do it, and tactical. Same for Churchill Downs or Delaware North. Penn Entertainment is likely out unless they divest something in Ohio on the racing side. Hard Rock was in prior but they don't seem to buy into racetracks. Jack Entertainment could make a tactical move as well, but do they have the capital? Caesars may be happy with their current investment and operational portfolio, which may put them out on this. As the earnings season for major companies in the US sports betting sector approaches, Tipico, the Malta-based gambling giant, is reportedly on the brink of selling its proprietary US sports betting platform. Sources close to the matter, speaking under anonymity, revealed to the financial newsletter Earnings+More that Tipico is strongly considering the sale, with MGM Resorts International emerging as a prime contender for acquisition. Tipico, which has established its presence in four states – New Jersey, Iowa, Colorado, and Ohio – through its online sports betting platform, could potentially part ways with its US operations. The move comes amidst speculation about the company’s future, with earlier reports suggesting talks of a potential merger with Fanatics back in 2022.
