Penny Rees’ Post

View profile for Penny Rees

Acting Chief Strategy Officer at East West Rail

It may look like a messy hole in the ground, but is in fact the start of an ambitious project to transform the junctions either side of Battersea Bridge. When complete next year, the project will deliver eight new pedestrian crossings, measures to protect cyclists from road danger, and a new bus gate to help our customers get ahead of traffic. Watch this space for new public consultations launching soon, setting out TfL’s further plans for road danger reduction at Monument and Great Eastern Street - to help vulnerable road users travel safely and sustainably on London’s roads.
