To whom it may concern! As I am writing this message I am just wondering if there are any real jobs out there from real companies. Unfortunately, I have been misinformed about jobs and defrauded by various entities just wanting you to pay for stuff. Can anybody please help me out at all as I have been trying to get a job since I lost my job due to the pandemic. If there is anyone that would be willing to look at my resume and help me out with any suggestions of what I am doing wrong on it to help clarify why I am not getting a job. Last week I applied for eighty-five jobs and was rejected for seventy-five percent of them so far. I appreciate any words of wisdom or any kind of help to fulfill my concerns in finding a job. So to follow up on this post, I have to tell you that after applying for the eighty-five jobs that I got turned down for all of them. What is going on with the job market? Can anybody help me out as I always see people saying that they are getting promoted and I can't even get a job at all. So I am taking into consideration that companies are really just putting job listings out there but there are really no jobs. As I see all of this I am seeing the light that this is all for the job market reports to help with the stock market. Plus I seen an article that a manager of a company applied for a job within their organization and they got turned down for a job. Please help me out as I really need to get a job. 😢 😭

Discussion Time! Let’s have your thoughts! Reports of more jobs open than people looking yet unemployment is up, 4.1 percent. Many understand the past 15 months the market has been extremely tough and competitive in finding a job. What are your insights in the job market numbers vs what you experienced? Is it true we are at a healthy recovery with plentiful jobs, or is there more than what’s being divulged? I personally see certain non general roles being posted repeatedly. Many roles I read requires more than normal years experience, specific skills only in specific industry etc, and many peoples experiences are same across the nation: 1,000 applications and handful of interviews with no offer. Let's talk about job gaps for a minute. What gives the employer the right to judge a gap? Job gaps happen for many reasons. - Taking care of a sick relative - Leaving the workplace to start a family - Getting laid off in a particularly rough job market - Going back to school - Or simply taking a mental break because you need it And guess what? None of these impact the candidate's ability to do the job. Companies, please stop asking about gaps - it's none of your business. Besides, we could also ask why you've posted the same job 4 times in the past year.

Today we will discuss some points as to why you shouldn't accept a counter offer! 🙅♂️ 1️⃣ 𝐔𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐥𝐲𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐈𝐬𝐬𝐮𝐞𝐬 - You may achieve a higher salary, but the underlying issues as to why you was open to exploring something new will stay the same. 2️⃣ 𝐍𝐞𝐰 𝐁𝐞𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐬 - If you a new employer is willing to take a chance on you, it shows they have much more believe and see a lot of value in you! 3️⃣ 𝐋𝐚𝐜𝐤 𝐨𝐟 𝐓𝐫𝐮𝐬𝐭 - Trust between you and your current employer could break down, as they may question your loyalties and commitment. 4️⃣ 𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐭 𝐙𝐨𝐧𝐞 - Great things tend to come when stepping out your comfort zone! Chances of missing out on opportunities if you stay! 5️⃣ 𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐒𝐡𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐥𝐲 𝐀𝐟𝐭𝐞𝐫 - Around 80% of those who accept counter offers reignite their job search within 3 months. Always remember why you was looking in the first place! 💼

Day 4 of posting until I get a better job: Here's a finished piece of my own creation. Every time I've gotten a job rejection email, I'd try to retain hope that something better will come along. After over a year of applying to any and every position that I think I am qualified for (even those that I'm not) and, out of those, getting four interviews and only two separate jobs, I have all but given up on the job market. Entry-level positions aren't treated as "entry-level". You're either "over-qualified" or "under-qualified" and then notion that, "It's who you know" rather than "what you can bring without having that connection" is just so demotivating. Imagine wanting to have a stable job in an unstable economy with overpriced living costs that are barely level with the actual wages? :)
