Sharp and modern brand design by Shane G. 😎 We asked Shane what inspired him to start freelancing. "My biggest inspiration is having no limits or barriers to my creativity that can sometimes occur when you are part of a large team or organisation. I love helping, and working with other small businesses reach their design goals." Check out Shane's profile on PeoplePerHour: https://lnkd.in/e-kbqjqe

Not a single client has ever left me because of bad design. Not one! Budget constraints, timelines, project scope? Sure, but bad design? Never! As much as that feels like a flex, it's also a huge realization. I used to work in an agency as Head of Design, managing a team of talented designers. Yet, several designs were rejected. Why? The focus was on finishing projects, not on delivering kickass design! Freelancing has taught me to understand my clients better. I take on fewer clients, allowing for deeper, more meaningful conversations. I get to know what their brand means to them, their goals, and their vision. I don't have to control my creativity between 9 and 5, and I don't have to jump between 5 projects every day, breaking my creative flow. Now, I can dedicate three days straight to one client or work on a burst of inspiration at 2 AM because I focus on quality, not just quantity. And maybe that's why my clients stick with me. Here's to keeping it that way! 💪

Helping Impact-Driven Entrepreneurs Make a Bigger Difference With Funnels | Conversion Funnel Designer | Let's Connect!
Redesign 9/100 ✅ Before -> After Redesign for a landing page in the freelancing niche. This page already had colors that work for the industry. We optimized this page and gave it a different spin - fine-tuning its colors and paying attention to the details so that it comes across as an established company that provides people with freelancing opportunities. A few things we did: - Optimize spacing and layout - Used illustration/graphic style belongs to the niche - Tweaked the green on the page so that it comes together better - Picked a stronger font for the headline - #100designchallenge #funneldesigner #funneldesign

I was stuck in that mindset. 🧠 When I started my freelancing journey, I believed I could only design thumbnails—nothing else. But here's the reality check ✅ If you want to earn more 💸, you need to bring more value to the table. Mastering one skill is great, but it's not enough. ----------------------------------------------------------- The real game-changer? Building a stack of skills and offering diverse solutions. That's how you become an irreplaceable asset to your clients—and that’s when you start charging what you're truly worth. 🚀 So, how many types of designs are in your arsenal? ----------------------------------------------------------- P.S. Tried something new with this Tata Tea design—definitely out of my comfort zone! Would love to hear your thoughts and feedback on it. 💭 (It's not originally designed by me) #freelancedesigner #graphicdesign #linkedincommunity #TataTea #TataTeaGraphicDesign #ThumbnailDesign #Photoshop #ClickThroughRate #CTR #ViralThumbnail

Three of the biggest mistakes I've made. And it cost me a good amount. After reading those mistakes, just avoid them. ↳ Always mention terms and conditions in the Document ↳ Mention the deadlines in the documents ↳ Mention whether the amount is refundable or non-refundable. There are many mistakes not just 3 so, ↳ Mention the deadlines in the documents ↳ Make the payment system easier for your client ↳ Document everything ↳ Keep the client updated ↳ Research a lot before you deliver the final files ( especially when it's a logo ) P.S. What's a big mistake you made during freelancing? #graphicdesigner #designtips #designlearning #brandingdesign #logodesigner

I help Graphic Designers --> Try Swwwift.io 🚀 | Former Graphic Designer I Tech Founder I Web Agency owner
YOUR CLIENT ASKS FOR A DISCOUNT!! Here’s my response… The easiest way to respond to a client who wants to discount your website quote is; Say no! They are asking you to work for free! Then Relate your response to their business; E.g. If it’s a bathroom company, ask them if they had quoted their best price how many bathrooms would they do for free? Every time they will say none. You’ll gain respect for asking this. Trust your worth. They wouldn’t be asking for a discount if they wasn’t interested in working with you. Stand your ground. If that’s not good enough, let them find someone else who IS happy to work within their budget. #graphicdesign #graphicdesigner #freelancedesigner #freelancegraphicdesigner #freelance #websitedesign

In a bustling city, Alex had always been known for his artistic flair. A talented graphic designer, he worked a stable but unfulfilling job at a marketing agency. Each day felt like a grind, and the passion that once fueled his creativity slowly faded. 𝗢𝗻𝗲 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴, 𝗳𝗲𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗰𝘂𝗹𝗮𝗿𝗹𝘆 𝘂𝗻𝗶𝗻𝘀𝗽𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗱, 𝗔𝗹𝗲𝘅 𝗰𝗮𝗺𝗲 𝗮𝗰𝗿𝗼𝘀𝘀 𝗮 𝗾𝘂𝗼𝘁𝗲 𝗯𝘆 𝗦𝘁𝗲𝘃𝗲 𝗝𝗼𝗯𝘀: "𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗼𝗻𝗹𝘆 𝘄𝗮𝘆 𝘁𝗼 𝗱𝗼 𝗴𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸 𝗶𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝗹𝗼𝘃𝗲 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗱𝗼." It struck a chord deep within him. He realized that he had lost sight of what made him love design in the first place. Inspired, Alex decided to take a leap of faith. He began freelancing, creating designs for local businesses and startups. With each project, he infused his personality and creativity, rediscovering the joy of his craft. He spent late nights perfecting his work, often losing track of time, but it felt different—this was passion-driven. As word spread about his unique designs, demand surged. Alex faced challenges—tight deadlines, demanding clients, and the instability of freelancing—but he embraced each hurdle. He remembered the quote, using it as motivation to push through the tough times. 𝗘𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘂𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆, 𝗔𝗹𝗲𝘅 𝗹𝗮𝘂𝗻𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗱 𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗼𝘄𝗻 𝗱𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗻 𝘀𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗶𝗼, “𝗖𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗣𝘂𝗹𝘀𝗲.” His goal was to help brands tell their stories through art. He focused on collaboration, creating a space where clients could share their visions openly. The studio thrived, and Alex felt fulfilled like never before. Years later, as he looked at his team, a diverse group of artists and designers, Alex reflected on his journey. They shared his passion and commitment to creativity, turning ideas into reality. His love for design not only fueled his success but inspired those around him. 𝗧𝗵𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵 𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸, 𝗔𝗹𝗲𝘅 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗻𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘁𝗿𝘂𝗲 𝗳𝘂𝗹𝗳𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗲𝘀 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗽𝘂𝗿𝘀𝘂𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗹𝗼𝘃𝗲. His story was a testament to the power of passion in entrepreneurship. #EntrepreneurSpirit #PassionDriven #LoveWhatYouDo #CreativePulse

Can you imagine starting a dream with nothing but a table full of hopes? That's how it all began for us at Creative Bananas. In 2012, we began with dreams, sketches, and late nights fueled by passion and coffee. It was just a table, a few sketches, and a whole lot of doubt. Freelancing as "Elron Designs" was our first step, but launching Creative Bananas in 2015 was the real challenge. Managing the team and facing setbacks tested our determination, especially when the team briefly dissolved. But we never gave up. By 2019, Creative Bananas had a fresh start, growing into a powerhouse of creativity. Today, we’ve served numerous clients and earned international recognition. Our journey from humble beginnings to becoming leaders in digital creativity showcases our dedication, passion, and teamwork. These experiences taught us the importance of perseverance and thinking outside the box. Stay tuned for more exciting topics and new ideas from Creative Bananas.
