Good Morning LinkedIn! 2 Weeks ago a shared a poll to gage how many interviews candidates feel are needed to make a decision on a job. I had over 200 people respond, these were the results. 70% said 2 interviews 24% said 3 interviews 3% said 4 interviews 3% said 5 or more interviews are needed. I work with a wide variety of clients who all have very different interview processes. As each company is unique and looking for different things in a candidate a personalized interview process is important. However, something I always emphasize is that too many interviews can result in the loss of a fantastic candidate. Hiring someone is an important decision but loosing out on a candidate because of your interview process can be detrimental. Begging the question, how many interviews is to many interviews? Communicating with your employees and potential employees about interview experiences and expectations can change your hiring process for the better. I encourage all my clients and candidates to be aware of what you are expecting from the whole interview process. I would love to hear more thoughts in the comments about why you think a certain number of interviews are or are not needed! #hiring #interviewing #openjobs
