We’re pleased to welcome Sam Hanson to the team as our new AVP of Construction. Sam comes with a wealth of experience as well as a proven track record in the construction industry. In his new role, he will focus on our national development program as well as Pep Boys’ existing real estate portfolio. Sam’s expertise will be instrumental in the efficiency and effectiveness of our construction team as well as modernizing the customer experience in our Service Centers. Pep Boys is thrilled to welcome you to the team!
Sam, you should’ve chosen another company. The workmanship and quality at Pep Boys is less than desirable and has hurt. A lot of people like me. The staff at the Riverview Florida location did not follow the right procedure to install a water pump. Breaking parts off into the engine and causing catastrophic damage to that engine. Not a good choice. If your mom went to the Pep Boys near you she potentially could come back with a ruined car. Terrible service there.
Congratulations
Congratulations- looking forward to working with you!!

8moOn February 2, 2024 I dropped off my vehicle to your Annapolis store for the installation of four tires. This is a picture of the tires before installation, staged on the Pep Boys floor at the Annapolis location When I picked up my vehicle, I noticed a large crack in the windshield. This crack was not disclosed to me when I picked up the vehicle from Assistant Manager Joseph. I was instructed by Assistant Manager Joseph to call customer service. He provided no assistance or information and refused to interact with the customer service representative. The CSR then proceeded to instantly deny my claim as a default. But I should expect to hear from Scott Borman. I called back to your number three additional times, and spoke with Eddie, who said that Scott would soon return my call. Then I did hear from Scott on February 7, he attempted to waive responsibility because he claimed the heat in the garage cracked my windshield. He has since failed to contact me after I sent the above photos to him.
