🤔 How does maximising a company culture drives greater individual and team results? Barratt defines it as follows: ✅ Working at a place where no one feels that they are coming to work. So focus on making a lively and stressless environment where everyone feels fulfilled and satisfied with what they are doing. ✅ Coming to work at a place where they are coming to make money with their mates/ friends ✅ A culture that allows every individual to develop their skills and learn new things. ✅ A company that can allow to grow progressively in their careers where they can eventually think of having management/ partnership positions. ✅ Mapping skills to different job roles and define a career pathway for everyone in the organisation. ✅ Making it feel like an amazing experience for everyone on the team ✅ People are having fun, making money and growing themselves every day 🎧 We interviewed Barratt Kennett from EFCOMM Sales and Marketing Solutions Pty Ltd on the Ultimate Global Podcast. And he gave us some new perspectives of looking into a great company culture. ⬇️ Let us know what you think about building a healthy company culture and how you are doing that in the company that you work in. #everystorymatters #learnwithsaurabh #personaldevelopment #networking

Director - Human Capital at Z47 (fka Matrix Partners India)|| BW people 40 under 40|| Partnering with early stage startup Founders to build amazing Teams || Solving for Talent and Organisation Culture ||
Don't just aim to make a dent in the universe when you can make a crater! For the second episode of #PeopleFirst, I had the honour to sit across with Asish Mohapatra. Most of you know the amazingly successful firms he and his co-founding team have already built within 8 years. But what doesn’t get highlighted enough is the team that they built painstakingly and the efforts that goes behind rallying so many folks towards that one mission (The average tenure of the core team is around 6 years!). This conversation is all about bringing out some of those hacks for the ecosystem to learn from. In my first meeting with Asish..I remember asking him about my inhibitions about putting out content on social media and he said “Don’t overthink. Just put it out there”. And that execution-first mindset shows in everything the team has achieved…Execution does eat strategy for breakfast! My takeaway from the conversation with him is just one thing… #BeDisciplined! ► 𝐁𝐞 𝐃𝐢𝐬𝐜𝐢𝐩𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐝 - 𝐈𝐧 𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐦𝐲 𝐞𝐱𝐚𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐞: The co-founding team of OfBusiness practices a hands-on approach, undertaking tasks themselves without relying on team members, which underlines their value of self-reliance and accountability. Also, founder brings complementary skills and trust each other to own their respective function. ► 𝐁𝐞 𝐃𝐢𝐬𝐜𝐢𝐩𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐝 - 𝐓𝐨 𝐛𝐞 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐞𝐫𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥/𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐟𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲-𝐟𝐨𝐜𝐮𝐬𝐞𝐝: If you are a business and profitability is not your core focus, then it’s not a true business after all. Every rupee should matter. And if this means, you are called a Lala then so be it. In fact, with that rationale, most companies should strive to be a lala company. ► 𝐁𝐞 𝐃𝐢𝐬𝐜𝐢𝐩𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐝 - 𝐓𝐨 𝐢𝐧𝐯𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐢𝐧 𝐓𝐚𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐭: The team focussed on cultivating talent from day 1. The first batch of Management trainees took on an average 2-3 years before they could start contributing significantly. Till then the leadership team was doubling down. ► 𝐁𝐞 𝐃𝐢𝐬𝐜𝐢𝐩𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐝 - 𝐓𝐨 𝐜𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐚 𝐭𝐫𝐮𝐞 𝐁𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐝: AshMo has without a miss posted a LinkedIn Post every Sunday for over 5 years now. Each post gives a sneak peek into Ofb and Oxyzo's culture and work principles. There is no shortcut to creating the true brand. Team OfBusiness, Cheering the team for the next big milestone in 2024!
