1moWith the importance that Pepsico gives to rural areas, how is it possible that it doesn't sponsor any sports team there? In Spain there is a very big problem with depopulation and the lack of generational relief in agriculture and livestock. Ruraltivity is a great project that supports entrepreneurial women in rural Spain but unfortunately every year the rural aeras in Spain loss population. One of the best ways to fight against depopulation in rural areas is, among others, through sports. Couldn't some of Pesico's brands support rural teams that have made something unique and incomparable. The San Sadurniño volleyball team (2700 inhabitants) in rural Galicia had to play the 24-25 season in the elite of Spanish volleyball. It was not the first time that they managed to be promoted but it was the first time that they had to resign due to lack of sponsors. The closure of small businesses and companies as well as the retirement of farmers not only affects the small village, but also the club. Corporate social responsibility with rural communities must be greater.
