Such an honor to partner with Matt Scott PLY, world champion wheelchair basketball player and Team Hartford athlete, helping him fulfull a longtime dream. Matt credits his success in basketball and life to a wheelchair donation he received as a teenager. That chair helped him up his game, fueling his championship basketball career while also emboldening him to pursue other aspirations in education, coaching and leadership. Yesterday The Hartford donated a ‘gym full’ of adaptive wheelchairs to participants in Matt’s basketball clinic at CUNY in Queens, NY, helping expand possibilities for over 50 athletes.
