At Deloitte #Luxembourg, we are driven by a purpose – building better futures.   This is, in a nutshell, what defined the past financial year and what we demonstrate in our 5th Impact Report, released today.   In this report, concrete examples go beyond narratives, illustrating how, through meaningful human connections, we collectively bring our purpose to life.   Examples of how our people strived to deliver excellence, of how we endeavoured to give back to our communities and contribute to addressing the challenges of our time. There are the initiatives that we took at the Firm level to ensure our people benefit from a unique and fulfilling #talent experience that empowers them to craft their own career and leadership journey. There are the ways we transform and embed sustainability in everything we do. There are also numbers, because we are convinced that we are bound to measure what we aim to achieve.    I extend my gratitude to my partners and all our talented and diverse professionals who consistently ensured we deliver the pristine quality that is always expected when choosing Deloitte. Their work and dedication have translated into a robust growth of 14%, with our gross revenues reaching EUR 462 million.   Our Advisory & Consulting practice, led by Patrick LAURENT, grew by 17%, Audit & Assurance, led by Christiane Chadoeuf, by 16%, and our Tax practice, led by Bernard David, by 9%. These results have been enabled by the remarkable support that our teams in Operations, led by our COO Pierre Masset, have never failed to provide. 15 is a fantastic number!   20 years ago, when I first entered the doors of Deloitte we did not have a market leading image. 12 years ago when we started our deliberate transformation towards being an undisputed market leader we did not have a market leading image. But through deliberate, decisive, consistently bold choices, we are today recognized as having the 15th best image of all businesses in Denmark according to the newly published survey by Berlingske. We have moved 10 places up from last year – what an achievement! Moreover, in addition to being in top 15 overall, we are leading our profession within professional services.   Does that make me proud? Oh yes it does! Did it require consistent, tough and difficult choices over the past decade? Yes it did. Rarely anything comes out of nothing. And a strong recognized image/brand doesn’t either. Top talent, strong inclusive culture, delivering consistent impact to our clients is amongst the ingredients of the recipe that brought us here.   Thank you to all our great talents for delivering on our aspiration. #talent #deloitte #brand

Greatful to be invited to Deloitte to share how we can build strong, aligned and inclusive cultures across countries, where our people can thrive even in difficult times. This is our recipe so far: - Involve champions across your company. - Focus on a few shifts to strengthen, dont try to fix the whole elephant at once. - Be really concrete about what your values stand for. - Train a critical mass of people and leaders to be rolemodels for your dream culture (research suggest between 11-50%) and the snowball will start to roll. - Focus on building a fundament of psychological safety, to release the full potential of your people and the diversity they represent. - And then you need a doze of patience, as Rome was not build in a day. - When you have build a strong fundament and critical mass, its time deep dive into and remove the barriers that are standing in the way to fully realise the culture that you want. After just some months into training all our people in our newly refreshed values, we see a positive increase in the perception of a strong culture in our people survey. We have just started and Im truly excited about our next phase ahead. Wish you all the best with your journey ahead in aligning and strengthening your culture in the Nordic integration Deloitte! Recently, Deloitte released its 2023 US Impact Report sharing the progress made against our purpose goals and reaffirming our commitment to make a difference in the world. I’m immensely proud and inspired by the collective impact we have made – and continue to make – on each other, our clients, and our communities. I also take pride in our executive team's courage to be transparent not only about what has been accomplished, but also what still needs to be done.
