Green Grass or Dandelions? Where Do We Focus? | Nature Walk Talks with Dr. Dale Atkins https://lnkd.in/gtSB55r3 Hi. I'm so happy to be with you for another nature walk talk. I just wanted to point something out that only nature can show us. I came and I said, What a gorgeous idea that the people who built this office building had when they decided to make one whole area just green space. And look how lovely that is. I mean, it could have been bricks and mortar, could have been cement, who knows what's underneath, but it's all green. And then I looked really closely and I saw how many dandelions there were. So you can focus on the green or you can focus on the dandelions. And once you focus on the dandelions, you can say, maybe that's good for a salad or, oh my, it's all weeds. So how we bring our attitude to a particular scene, to a particular moment in time, will determine how we experience that moment in time. So you can look at all the beautiful green and focus on that, or you can focus on the dandelions. And if you focus on the dandelions, you can focus on them as potential food. But whatever you do, understand that so much of it is within our own mind and what we bring as an attitude.
