I am delighted to announce the successful completion and the achievement of Hospitality Management Certificate from Cornell University! 🛎 🎗 This exquisite management course has equipped me with precious insights and tools necessary to outshine in my Hotel journey. All the professors and course facilitators have given me the chance to deepen my knowledge in those topics that we experience in everyday work life, such as building high-performing team, financial statements, hotel operations, marketing management, pricing and revenue, and building guest loyalty. Throughout these wonderful 3 months, I took good note and underlined all the sentences that the professors mentioned during the lessons. I felt these phrases so deeply since I experience them firsthand during my days doing what I love: Hospitality. I would like to share them with you: 1. When the customer purchases your service, what they are really purchasing is the experience your service provides them. 2. A complaint is a social confrontation, it is initiated to adjust perceptions and outcomes. Feedback is a gift. 3. Hosting guests in a hotel could be compared to hosting them in your own home. 4. Hotels sell an experience. When the guests leave the property, all they have is the memory of their experience. Ad maiora! 🐞

Here are five daily steps to keep your team’s hospitality practice alive and kicking. In no particular order: 💎 Practice awareness by talking about hospitality at every opportunity throughout the day. 💎 Prepare a hospitality topic and include it in every briefing. Remember to debrief it after service. Example: your daily self-hospitality practice. 💎 Share stories of hospitality success from every service. What did your team or a colleague do to make their guests experience unbearable hospitality? 💎 Share hospitable ways of responding to any potential challenges. Turn any specific weaknesses into hospitality strengths. Encourage creative input from your team. 💎 Spoil your team with unbearable hospitality: listen, smile, celebrate and have fun! 🙏🏼 ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- As part of LaSA Training, I run workshops and a course teaching hospitality as a professional skill with specific tools to cultivate daily. I invite you to visit my website and book a call to discuss how LaSA can help your team take their hospitality to the stratosphere!
