Artificial Intelligence has been revolutionizing the industrial world by adding unlimited capabilities of data analysis, processing, and use to produce actionable decisions.
The emergence of Generative AI has taken this technology to the next level.
Another critical side of the #ai equation is #jobs.
We are already seeing the impact and it’s not neglectable, it’s significant and it will reshape the job’s market forever.

It was about 2 years ago I spoke with AI guru Shailendra Kumar & Aruna Pattam LinkedIn Top Voice in AI.
We spoke about the use-cases of AI, then it was early days, no one was exactly sure what the future of GenAI will look like, we knew that a #GenerativeAI-based transformation is coming. #GenerativeAI can definitely assist and streamline the marketing process in many ways, but will it have the same level of understanding and creativity as humans! Debatable.
Since then, we see many fold increase in current uses of Generative AI in marketing mostly consist of off-the-shelf pilots integrated into existing workflows as Phase 1.
Implementing AI in its simplest form can present difficulties - fine-tuning of AI models for refinements not just tweaks and options to scale. Attempting to incorporate too many different Generative AI initiatives in the hope that something sticks can end up being costly, diffuse, and difficult to track, making it hard to incorporate. Instead, companies can focus on two or three use cases wherein off-the-shelf gen AI tools can provide immediate impact in priority domains.
With so many benefits and potential applications, it’s worth considering how AI can help your marketing team hit its goals, but there are guardrails to follow.

Have you ever thought about how AI decides what’s important and what’s not? This challenge, known as the framing problem, is one of the most complex and intriguing hurdles in artificial intelligence.
The framing problem is essentially about setting the right context for AI systems. Think about it—when we communicate, we effortlessly grasp the context and nuances. For example, the phrase "the apple doesn't fall far from the tree" is instantly understood as a metaphor. But for an AI, it might start calculating the physical distance apples fall!
This issue goes deeper than just interpreting phrases. It involves understanding an ever-changing environment with countless variables. AI must determine what factors are relevant in a given situation and adapt in real-time. This level of contextual awareness and flexibility is incredibly challenging to program.
Maintaining relevance adds another layer of complexity. In our dynamic world, what’s relevant can shift rapidly. AI systems need to adapt continually, which is like teaching a dog new tricks every day and expecting it to remember them all perfectly.
Then there’s the issue of information overload. With data pouring in from all directions, filtering out the noise to find what truly matters is a monumental task. Imagine searching for a needle in a haystack that keeps growing by the second—that’s what AI deals with every day.
Despite these challenges, the progress we’ve made in AI is nothing short of amazing. Yet, humans have a leg up on this for now. Our brains are incredibly adept at filtering information, understanding context, and adapting to new situations. It’s a reminder of just how remarkable human cognition is and why replicating it in AI is such a daunting task.

Is it really "Artificial" Intelligence, or Augmented? What will AI be able to do without us, and what will it desperately need us for?
Is the world a deterministic or probablistic place in which we live and work? Are the stars of our lives locked in their courses, or are we all bookies playing the odds?
If the latter, how good is AI in running book?
The answers are clear but complex. Join us for a high-stakes conversation about where this is going.
The Past is not Prologue, but Human Nature and Technology nevertheless tell us a lot about what we can expect.
Artificial Intelligence requires bias to be effective. Implementing a phased ranking system, like what #Vespa offers, or a custom scoring model is crucial when using Vector Search. This must be done alongside creating a clean representation of the candidate for accurate matching. #AI#VectorSearch#Bias#MachineLearning
