Who do you want to be as a physical therapist? Not where. Not what 'kind'. But who will you be? What will you provide? Let's change the narrative. PT is what a physical therapist provides. Not the location. Not the specialty. It's the care. Think outside the box. Be you. Be innovative. Bring PT TO PEOPLE. What do you think? #Physicaltherapy #physicaltherapists #edpt #PTinteED #PTintheCommunity #TopofScope

Words are important. When does “physical therapy” cease to be physical therapy? Physical therapists have broadened their knowledge base in so many different ways that much of what I see posted on social media looks less and less like what I would call physical therapy. Is there still a true definition of “physical therapy” or is it just whatever a physical therapist does is now called physical therapy because it was performed by a physical therapist?

As we have wrestled with using "Athletic Trainer" as our professional title, have we actually moved away from a common definition of what defines an athletic trainer? What is the commonality that still unites us as a profession? #athletictraining #athletictrainer
