Founder & CEO of Pinenanda | Conscious Leadership in the Age of AI | Global Executive Consultant | Startup Mentor | Ex-Google Executive | Public Speaker | Author
I am Excited to Share that I am Embarking on a New Journey: Pinenanda - Conscious Leadership in the Age of AI Today marks a deeply emotional and significant moment in my life. After an incredible 16-year journey with Google, filled with memories, challenges, and accomplishments, I'm stepping into a new chapter—one that feels both exciting and profoundly meaningful. On May 25th, 2008, I joined Google, a company whose impact on the world is undeniable. As a historian by education, I was captivated by the opportunity to be part of an organization that was making history in real-time. Over the years, I've been fortunate to lead initiatives that have brought the power of the internet to millions—launching YouTube in multiple countries, conducting mobile marketing workshops across the globe, and most recently, fostering the growth of startups through the Startup Growth Lab in Israel. These experiences have shaped me in ways I could never have imagined. I've learned from the brightest minds and worked alongside some of the most talented individuals in the tech industry. Together, we've contributed to the flourishing Israeli startup ecosystem, helping to create businesses that are changing the world. However as I reflect on these years, I realize that the most transformative era is still ahead of us. The AI revolution is not just a technological shift; it’s a fundamental change in how we understand and interact with the world. It will challenge us in ways we’ve never faced before, demanding new approaches to leadership—approaches that are rooted in consciousness, purpose, and a deep understanding of our human essence. This realization has led me to create Pinenanda, a new executive consulting company dedicated to guiding leaders through this unprecedented time. My goal is to be a trusted partner to leaders as they navigate the intersection of AI and its profound implications for humanity, organizations, and businesses. Through insights, guidance, and a human-centered approach, I aim to help leaders not just adapt to this new reality, but to lead with purpose, clarity and integrity. This journey is about more than embracing AI; it’s about ensuring that as we move forward, we do so with our humanity intact. It's about leading with a vision that is not just innovative but conscious and deeply rooted in the values that make us who we are. I want to express my deep gratitude to Meir Brand for opening the door to this incredible opportunity 16 years ago, and to Barak Regev, whose partnership and friendship have been invaluable in shaping my journey. And to all my friends and colleagues at Google around the world, Thank you for being part of this unforgettable adventure 🙏 If you're interested in exploring how we can navigate the future together, please visit my new website at www.pinenanda.com or reach out to me directly. With gratitude, Oren #AI #ConsciousLeadership #LeadershipDevelopment #ExecutiveCoaching #Pinenanda #Google

Have we entered a new era of microtribes? A week ago, I read an article in Forbes about “the rise of microtribes”, and I can’t stop thinking about it since. Globalisation introduced the idea of a global village, breaking the barriers of time and space between people and enabling rapid growth of technology. And now, that technology is enabling the rise of niches, small communities, and groups of interest. Consumers and employees are looking to belong and businesses to specialise. What does it mean for us? ↗ Products should rethink their strategies. Who are our clients? How do they segment? How can we satisfy their unique needs? How can we scale globally but stay relevant regionally? How do we balance the out-of-the-box and custom? Maybe we should, quoting Forbes, “rather then looking for a billion-dollar idea, (..) find ten or twenty $100 million ideas.” ↔ Companies should rethink their organisation models. Instead of centralising decision-making, processes and methodologies, how do we embrace sociocracy (thanks, Frank Eggink, for reminding me about this concept)? Decentralised organisations are more agile, innovative, and consumer-centric; they allow teams to learn faster, lower business risks, and promote inclusion. ⤴ Leadership should give more autonomy to teams. Shift from commanding and controlling to inspiring and aligning on vision and direction. How to create and sustain small, passionate, and independent teams of people who trust and support each other? What’s the best way to invest in coaching, teaching, and sharing knowledge instead of imposing instructions and manuals? It’s a fascinating topic. I’ll definitely be writing more about this. I’d love to hear your thoughts. If you have good sources, books, or articles on the subject, please share them here. Link to Forbes: https://lnkd.in/enfzpMfe

Disruptive Transformation .. Visionizing New Horizons "Disruption" is a term that is widely used today in describing innovations that go beyond normality towards creating new customer experiences. This type of dusruptive innovation is not a stepping advancement in the product or service lines, rather it is about eruption of new markets, satisfying a hidden unexpected customers' need & opening the horizon to completely different futuristic markets that can really touch human life in every aspect, whether socially, culturaly, economically, and even politically & environmentally. While the term "Disruption" is mostly known to be associated with technological innovations, but behind it there is another deep dimension of strategic Leadership. This disruptive Transformation Leadership holds a rare type of mind thought & heart courage, & that what makes it unique. And in the same time it is highly effective & Transformative, & that what makes it enormously dangerous, unless this powerful strategic leadership tenet was highly bound with genuine values, sacred ethics & all meanings of humanity before personal glory, tangible gains or competitive Superiority over others. The atomic weapons were once an disruptive invention, & the building caterpillars were also the same. The difference was in the values that drives the disruptive inventor, the human intention of the disruptive leader & the outcome results of that Disruption. In this article we won't judge what is relatively moral or immoral Disruption, rather will tackle the hidden core of the Transformation disruptive Leadership & discuss the pillars of thoughts (mind) & emotions (passion) of that rare type of leadership, that can be the most fascinating & the most horrible one in the same time. And we can sum them in 10 points: 1- Revolutionary impact: Disruptive transformation is about Status quo Challenging, changing the game's rules & building new directional road-maps. It is about destabilizing rigid malignant norms & destroying the fake ties that people was enslaving themselves with in stagnation prison, and replacing them with revolutionary thoughts & actions for their future benefits & advancement. 2- Core values' Renovation: Disruptive Leadership is about re-vitalizing hidden potentials & unleashing inert values embedded in genuine humanity. It is notably known that all sacred human values is a positive, developmental & progressive ones, holding the genuine essence of spiritual purity, divinity & ethics, and directing towards building human civilizations of goodness & welfare. These positive authentic values is what can blow the spirit of renovation & anticipating advancement that can help them creating the new future. ☆ Due to limitation of writing letters on LinkedIn post, kindly check the whole article from this Facebook link 🔻 https://lnkd.in/dKvWAw7U 🔺️🔺️🔺️

Quo vadis organization? In all our ventures in today's rapidly evolving landscape, we experience an immense rate of change and high levels of dynamic. It forced us to start thinking about how organizations can adapt to thrive in the age of AI. Drawing inspiration from the principles of holacracy, we can create agile, responsive, and innovative environments that leverage both artificial and genuine intelligence. Our key learnings for structuring organization in this new era (so far): Decentralized decision-making: AI empowers data-driven decisions, allowing for decentralized management. This fosters self-organizing teams that are agile and responsive, driving dynamic and flexible growth. Holacracy over Hierarchy: Transition from traditional hierarchies to holacratic models. Distribute authority and decision-making across all levels, encouraging dynamic roles over static job titles, and focusing on competencies rather than rigid structures. Embrace continuous change: Unlike the predict-and-plan approach of traditional hierarchies, holacracy thrives on constant change and natural development. Tensions aren't problems to be avoided but fuel for innovation and growth. Goal-oriented structure: Shift from interest-oriented to goal-oriented frameworks. Organize work around clear objectives, fostering a results-driven culture. Value genuine intelligence: While AI optimizes operations, genuine human intelligence becomes more crucial. Encourage creativity, critical thinking, and common sense to complement AI capabilities. New Leadership Rules: Hire individuals with strong common sense. Facilitate and energize your teams. Cultivate the "goodwill factor" within your organization. Provide clear direction but be flexible to change it as needed.
