📌 This week, the Greenvehicles LEVIS team convened for the Month 36 Online project meeting. Bringing together all partners, the meeting served as an important checkpoint to review and celebrate the significant progress we've made.
💡 LEVIS stands at the forefront of innovation in developing lightweight structural components for electric vehicles, emphasizing eco-design and circular approaches. The project leverages multi-material solutions, integrating thermoplastic-based carbon-fibre-reinforced polymers and metals, while employing cost-effective, scalable manufacturing and joining technologies. Notably, LEVIS integrates Structural Health Monitoring systems and efficient dismantling and recycling solutions, prioritizing sustainability and structural integrity.
🔍 During the meeting, we had the opportunity to thoroughly assess the advancements of our demos, including the suspension control arm, battery box, and cross car beam. Each demo showcased remarkable progress and innovation, highlighting our collective dedication to advancing sustainable mobility.
♻️ As we are gearing up for the final project phase, our focus revolves around the validation of our demonstrators, complemented by the finalization of the comprehensive Life Cycle Analysis (LCA), cost assessments (LCC), and feasibility studies that have been underway during the development of the project. These endeavours will allow us to demonstrate the applicability of our cutting-edge technologies within the automotive market.
