Robinson, one of the world’s leading #logistics solutions and technology providers with USD 22 billion in #freight under management.  ☑️ The combined business will create one of the largest FTL providers in Europe. ... and there gets another one of possible Hydrogen applications challenged: long distance trucking. Hydrogen proponents always maintain that long distance trucking can not be done by battery electric trucks. Scania Group begs to differ. 😎 Scania is showing what is possible today. I'm pretty curious what they will encounter concerning charging infrastructure and problems with parking space at chargers for the truck. After all, these are early days for BEV HGVs. And I am most interested in how big the difference in time will be on this journey, compared between a standard ICE HGV and this BEV HGV - when all resting requirements are followed. I hope we can get some information about that in this thread. I will follow this closely, and wish all the best to #queenoftheroad during this trip into the future! I think Michael Liebreich and his #hydrogenladder will be proven right in the long run: hydrogen will not have any place in mobility, neither in FCEV or H2 ICE applications.
