West Midlands helps to make Quality Moments Matter with £5,000 donation to Hope House 🤝 A #Shropshire-based children’s hospice has secured a £5,000 donation from our West Midlands team, helping to support the hospice’s latest campaign, Quality Moments Matter. Hope House received the funding boost as part of our Community Champions initiative. Hope House Children’s Hospices is a charity that gives every local child with a life-threatening condition and their family access to professional care and improves their quality of life from the point of diagnosis. The Quality Moments Matter campaign aims to raise £400,000 to bring fun and joy to all local children suffering with a life-threatening condition. As part of this, the hospice will be holding a fundraising marathon on the 17th and 18th November to achieve this wider goal. Our funding will help to contribute to the wider target, supporting the hospice and its families to improve the quality of life of sick children. The donation was marked by a visit from Lee Perry, Technical Director for Persimmon West Midlands and Cllr Dean Carroll, Portfolio Holder for Growth, Regeneration and Housing at Shropshire Council. #PersimmonHomes

This winter, NASS is launching a Winter Appeal to provide essential support and services to people living with axial SpA. Your donations will enable us to: • Offer advice and resources to help individuals manage their symptoms. • Provide supportive community connections to combat isolation. Every contribution makes a difference. For example: • A donation of £25 can help up to 40 people receive at least one guidebook from their rheumatologist to help them manage their symptoms between hospital appointments. • £50 can help one person apply for disability benefits with expert advice and support. • £250 can help people with axial SpA meet others going through similar experiences at a Your SpAce meetup. Together, we can ensure that no one faces this winter alone or without the support that they need. Our amazing friend Amy Kington needs some help with the fantastic work she does Community of Purpose CIC. Are any local businesses looking for a charity to support this Christmas to ensure they can have a Christmas meal, activities or care package. Thank you From Amy I’m writing to let you know about a campaign run by Community of Purpose, which aims to raise £25,000 to help 1,000 disadvantaged children in Bristol this Christmas. Community of Purpose have been one of our chosen good causes for a number of years and I’m reaching out to gain your support for this worthy Christmas campaign. Did you know that around almost a quarter of children in Bristol receive free school meals, representing one of the highest rates in England? Many families in our city face tough choices between fundamentals like heating their homes and putting food on the table. This campaign, backed by Bristol Live and Bristol Post, aims to tackle this by offering respite to 1,000 of those families in South Bristol through the Break Free programme. Break Free provides meals and enriching activities for thousands of children during the holidays. The money raised through this campaign will go towards a special Christmas meal, activities, and care packages for these young people, ensuring they have a festive season to remember. We’ve supported this programme since 2018 and see firsthand the impact it makes on people’s lives. Please click here to watch a short BBC news feature. How you can help? I’m contacting you to ask for your company’s support for this initiative with a donation. A donation of £2,000 could support 80 children on the programme this Christmas, and make a real difference to their lives. If you’re able to contribute, you can do so here https://lnkd.in/e6Bf4n_6 contact Amy.Kington@communityofpurpose.com 07846007805 directly to discuss how you can help. If you’re thinking of how your business can make a difference this Christmas, I commend this programme to you and urge you to support it.
