I recently came across Moonhub, a fascinating AI-powered recruitment platform founded by Nancy Xu in June 2022. Looks like Moonhub uses AI to streamline the hiring process for high-growth companies. Figuring out how AI can change the way we hire and work 🤖 | Sharing what I learn ✍️ | Taking some time out after 8 years of building, scaling and exiting my first start up 🌴
What a first week of unemployment. I expected to spend it playing golf and relaxing. Instead I spent it debating random people on the internet about how AI will change recruitment. And jumping on calls with interesting founders building great rectech products. Loved it. One thing I've really understood this week is the power of this platform. I shared 3 posts which generated: - 50k+ views of the posts and 1k+ views of my profile - 100+ new connections and countless people in the space who I've now engaged with - Meetings had or setup with 8 founders in the RecTech space - Coffees with other founders in my new home on the Sunshine Coast - Potential investment and advisory opportunities - And even the opportunity to acquire a startup! All that from 3 posts!! Thank to everyone who's engaged and contributed to the discussion. But today I finally will be taking some time out (other than one coffee meeting). Spending the day out and about on the coast and getting ready for my first trip back to the UK in 9 years. I'll be taking a break from LinkedIn next week whilst I'm away, but will spend time reading and learning on the trip. I'll have plenty to share on AI and recruitment when I get back.
