This is a powerful video. In our post-COVID work, closing sales at the demo table and generating ROI has never been more important. Each and every time I interview a candidate one of the same questions I always ask is “What are your best practices for closing sales?” A common answer I get from experienced BAs that understand the nuances of selling usually goes like this: “I like to ask customers questions and get feedback regarding what they are looking for and what is most important to them. Then, I tailor my pitch to speak to the specifics they seek and relate the product to them.” Protracted engagements with customers in a busy store is not always easier. But during slower times, in order to maximize each and every interaction, I try to engage customers in conversations and learn what resonates with them most.
