Ever wondered what a happens once you enquire about a Franchise? If you’ve ever thought about owning your own business, buying a franchise can be a great way to start. You’ll get training, help and advice; you’ll have systems to follow; you’ll have an established name to bring in customers, systems to help you work efficiently, and a group of fellow franchisees around you to talk to and support you as you grow. You’ll also benefit from the buying power, shared information and mentoring that comes from being part of a bigger group. So how do you actually get into a franchise in the first place and what happens once you make the first enquiry? Meredith Taylor & Nathan Bonney from Iridium Partners outline what to expect. What an incredible ride it’s been since launching the PHX Franchise! 7 years ago I dipped my toe into the world of business ownership. Here are 7 things I’ve learned about entrepreneurship… 1. Go all in and be patient. Your hard work and long hours will pay off. It just may take a little longer than you probably think. It’s all about your trajectory, so when you’re on the right path, keep going and don’t stop. 2. Your first million in ARR is much harder to earn than your second, but that doesn’t mean it comes with any less challenges. Control the controllables, and let the rest roll off your back. 3. Eliminating the mental chaos is hard to figure out, but not impossible. Work/life integration can be achieved once you’ve learned how to work efficiently in flow state. Happiness is the ultimate goal. 4. Make personal development, health, and a positive mindset the priority. Everything else will work itself out. 5. You can do a lot of things on your own, but having amazing people around you helps you grow much farther, faster. 6. Try new things. Take risks. Win or learn. You can and will accomplish more than you think by challenging yourself on purpose. 7. Relationships are your lifeblood. Remain open to new ideas and perspectives. Treat people well, be a resource, and surround yourself with those who inspire and motivate you. Opportunity is everywhere. I am hooked on building and operating great business. I have even bigger goals and dreams now, than I did 7 years ago. For me, there’s always a higher mountain and I love every minute of the climb. Cheers to you Kevin Welch, Journey Payroll and HR and the entire the Journey FamBam for all the opportunities that have been given to find out what’s possible, not only for me, but all other current and future owners! Onward and upward! 🚀

Happy 7 year Journey-versary to our amazing Journey Franchise owners, Jaime Anderson and Steven Harris in the Phoenix Region Market! Steven and Jaime’s franchise locations was a big step forward for us to take the next step in a bigger vision. Having their location be the first Journey franchise location in 2017 allowed us to open more doors to others in an opportunity unlike any other in our industry. Today, as we bring on top-tier sales professionals in the payroll industry so they can own their clients and put themselves in a better financial situation than anywhere else in the market, we remember that the first step in Journey Franchise was in 2017 with Steven and Jaime. Internally and externally, countless successes can be seen from Steven and Jaime. From their terrific sales performance to their detailed software IQ, and many places in between. But what people can't see on paper/screens is what remarkable humans they are. Their kindness, thoughtfulness, and genuine care for others are qualities that anyone who knows them can attest to. As we all strive for wins along the way in our journey, none of that matters if you're not a good person, doing good things, and making others feel happy along the way. I love having both of these two and their hearts in the Journey Fam. Cheers to celebrating their past successes these past 7 years, and looking forward to even greater achievements in the next 7++ years!

A very common misconception of franchise ownership is: "I will just buy a franchise and work for myself" and then expect everything to be "perfect". If you do not know what the typical owner's lifestyle is like, what the vision of the franchise is or if you align with their values, you will probably not be very satisfied with the results. That, and more solid advice here: https://lnkd.in/eyvZgnWu
