What is the value of alliances in pharma? We are currently interviewing global alliance heads from pharma companies of all sizes around the globe. I am astonished to hear that in many companies, the impact that alliances (rather than going without a partner) can have on company success still needs to be explained to skeptical internal stakeholders. Establishing a partnering mindset shouldn’t be an uphill battle. If anything, in a dynamic healthcare landscape the value of forgeing partnerships across the value chain will increase further. Working in alliances and leveraging each partner’s strengths allows companies to 💡 Gain access to innovative healthcare solutions and critical capabilities 💡 Incorporate diverse perspectives 💡 Bring valuable medicines to patients in need faster 💡 … What is your view and what would you add to the list?
great thoughts Peter ...and what is the most active segment? Oncology!!! (Source: Outcome capital)

2moThanks Peter for sharing. It is key to combine strengths like R&D, commercial, geographical footprint… difficult or almost impossible to go alone nowadays, best is to have long-term partners in the journey. In my experience, proven results (and there are so many) defy any scepticism. I look fwd to hearing more about those interviews!
