Scale One: Innovation is on the move in construction! It has been a year since Scale One has been redefining the future of construction. How? By enabling our innovators and partners to test and adopt key innovations such as: (i) Solutions to improve timelines and optimise costs through new construction methods and industrialised processes, (ii) More sustainable materials to meet the zero carbon challenge, (iii) Advanced digital tools to manage projects with enhanced precision, (iv) Construction processes that enhance the safety and ergonomics of workers (disruptive power tools, equipment...). And this is just the beginning! It's your turn to act if you also want to: (i) Save time: our site conditions are available all year round, for real-life testing, (ii) Secure your projects in a space designed to minimise risks without impacting the productivity of your sites, (iii) Develop your teams' skills and anticipate future developments, (iv) Reduce your costs by selecting field-tested solutions. Positive News for the Construction Industry in 2025! 🏗️ The Glenigan Construction Review January 2025 brings exciting updates for our industry. Despite economic challenges, the construction sector has shown resilience and significant growth. Here are some highlights: ✔️ Overall project starts: Averaged £10.372 million per month, reflecting a 20% year-on-year increase! ✔️ Major projects (£100M+): Surged by a remarkable 58%, driven by renewed confidence in large-scale developments. ✔️ Smaller-scale projects (£100M or less): Demonstrated consistent growth, increasing by 1%, which highlights the strength of grassroots activity in the sector. While challenges like a 4% drop in main contract awards and a 19% decline in planning approvals persist, these statistics emphasize the importance of collaboration, innovation, and adaptability to sustain growth and success in 2025. It’s an inspiring time to be part of the construction industry, and I look forward to seeing how these trends shape our future. Let’s keep building! #ConstructionIndustry #Growth #Innovation #Construction2025 #Resilience #MajorProjects

We wrapped up our second construction webinar on digitalization and we would like to share the recording with you in case you missed it. ➡️https://lnkd.in/eZpFTkH8 Here are some key takeaways from the webinar: · The strongest declines where mostly new build related, renovation ‘saved’ the year somewhat, but growth can only be achieved if new build bounces back · 2024 is expected to be relatively stable year for many countries, but it tends towards a slight decrease in building volumes in the majority of countries · Our prediction for 2025 is that there will be a positive turning point for newbuild, which is needed to increase the growth Stay tuned for our upcoming webinars and explore how these trends will continue to shape the construction industry in 2024 and beyond!
