Of the most significant issues we as consumers suffered were the outcomes of inflation created by Trump's tariff policies on products from China. For Americans, we must recognize the truth about goods sold in America. A vast majority of products are produced in China. Cheaper labor or division of labor helped us produce and offer cheaper goods, in great part due to China imports. When Trump's policies imposed China tariffs, the result was higher priced goods being exported to the US. Effectively, inflation for American consumers occurred because of excess tarrif. Another consequence, was China negotiating with other countries for their own imports. In economic reaction or retaliation, China effectively made better deals on their imports from other countries instead of the US. This action, created a consequential reaction by reducing export revenue from the US to China. These are conversations everyday Americans should understand about economic policy. Increased tariffs created increased pricing on goods, passed down to consumers and simultaneously adversely affect US export revenues. These are inflationary economic policies and practices. I remember shaking my head in disbelief over the four years of of Tump’s presidency — one shocking erosion of morality after another. One empty promise after another. Thankful to Robert Reich for refreshing our memory as to how awful Trump was. Lets remember a how much Biden has accomplished instead. 1) we have a better economy than any other nation after the global pandemic. 2) He avoided a predicted recession 3) He passed an infrastructure bill so that our roads and airports are hugely improved. 4) He brought businesses and jobs back to the US that were previously overseas and invested in tech jobs 5) Low unemployment and the stock market has hit new heights. Please remember the reality not the rhetoric.

So then what ?

Accountability is the word.

Well, at least there is a source. A lot of people just post numbers as if they mean something by themselves. Let's look into it: So polymarket just allows people to hedge bets basically. That means it is a self-selecting poll, which are always dicey at best. It might be better than a fox news or a CNN poll. But the way people are treating it here makes be think a lot of people need to take a basic media literacy class. They are treating it as a definite predictor. A voice must never be silenced.
