Last month, I was in Barcelona for European Blockchain Convention when I met Chris Koronowski. We immediately connected, and I found myself sitting down for an interview on his podcast, Web3 Snapshots. As we spoke, I realized it was the first time I’d really shared my full story with an online audience—how I co-founded fija Finance, and the problem I wanted to solve. I was just like many of you, navigating the excitement of the DeFi boom during DeFi Summer but quickly realizing that actually managing investments, strategies, and all the moving parts was a lot. The complexity of DeFi strategies, the sleepless nights trying to keep up with price drops, and the constant fear of being too late to react—all of that was overwhelming. I knew I wasn’t alone in feeling this way. But that’s exactly what led me to co-found fija Finance. We wanted to create something different—a way for people to earn compliant, automated returns on their crypto, with transparency and ease. The idea that anyone should be able to access these opportunities without losing sleep or control over their investments became our driving force.
