Energy Transition News: EQT Group acquires Statera Energy in $550 million deal EQT Infrastructure has announced they're acquiring Statera Energy, a UK-based leader in battery storage and flexible energy generation. 🔋 Statera has 1GW of power generation capacity in operation currently or under construction, enough to power roughly 750,000 homes. Statera plans to accelerate the growth of flexible generation across the UK, deploying 7.5GW of by 2030. Their total planned pipeline includes over 16GW. Statera is also involved with low-carbon energy sources like hydrogen or pumped hydro.
