What's UP in Aviation panel featuring PGAL aviation expert Diana Payne, Principal of our Los Angeles office was a success! It was an informative and engaging panel discussion with So Cal airport leaders to discuss planning for the upcoming Olympics, new projects on the horizon, and some of the key challenges facing airports and airlines today. Geology rocks! 🎸 Lamar University engaged PGAL to conduct a building façade renovation of the existing 2-story geology building as a follow-up project to the building condition assessment performed earlier in 2019. The existing 28,500-sf building, originally built in 1956, presented excessive cracking in the face brick, corrosion of the pencil rod brick ties and lintels, and water infiltration into the building around windows. PGAL's design team worked closely with the University to completely replace those elements, along with cast stone lintels, breathing new life into the almost 70-year-old facility . 📷: Tarick Foteh #PGAL #geologyrocks
