NEBOSH training doesn’t have to be death by PowerPoint. The learners are going to undertake a scenario based assessment…. I gave them a practical scenario to complete based around NEBOSH practice questions. *Understand*Adapt*Evolve*Overcome
The second week of our NEBOSH Construction Certificate course is taking place this week, here in the West Midlands! 🚧 During the first week, our delegates got hands-on with their learning, using a miniature construction site model to practice applying their new knowledge to real-world scenarios. It’s fantastic to see the group so engaged and enthusiastic as they build their confidence in managing construction site safety. Well done to everyone involved, and we look forward to another productive week ahead! #NEBOSH #Construction

The new format for the open book exams makes the NEBOSH construction cert much more relevant to construction and H&S professionals.
How useful is the NEBOSH Construction Certificate really when it comes to real life situations? Craig Hallsworth, who completed the NEBOSH Construction Certificate with Compass in 2023, shares the following experience. "The NEBOSH Construction Certificate course helped me to be able to deal with issues on site. For example, one of the cases in the exam became a reality and was almost identical to one of the questions asked. All in all, this helped me deal with the site issue and in turn, prevented some serious issues. Coincidently, the tutor also provided some useful information during the class from their own experiences which wouldn’t have otherwise been covered by the course alone." If you're interested in improving your site safety, find out more about this 10 day course here https://lnkd.in/e6hFZNt4 #constructionsafety #nebosh

The number of people working in construction in the UK is falling, and without adequate training and sustainable recruitment and development efforts, the industry could be in danger 👷♂️ At the end of 2023, there were approximately 2.12 million people employed in the construction sector in the UK, but fewer people are choosing hands-on construction careers as traditional university courses are being put first. That's why Cre8tive Space is proud to be a member of the Construction Industry Training Board where businesses come together to help the construction industry, attract talent and to support skills development, in the ongoing effort to build a better Britain. With the support of CITB we can provide training and development opportunities to budding construction whizzes to do our part in empowering and improving the industry to keep people creating and building, and allowing new voices to bring innovation into the sector. If you or your business think you could benefit from CITB's brilliant resources and expertise, you can find out more by clicking the image link below. #traininganddevelopment #constructionindustry #emplymentopportunities
