The #1 piece of advice I can give to a recent public health college graduate would be to know that you can always change your path! I've gone from program management to policy and dived into other aspects of public health as well. You do need to utilize whatever position you're in to discover your interests and hone in on your niche. Here's one of the tips from my latest blog post. Head over to The Public Health Club to read the full post. Identify your areas of interest!👇👇 Start by reflecting on what excites you most about public health. Ask yourself the following questions: -What public health issues are you passionate about? -Which population groups do you feel compelled to serve? -What skills and strengths do you bring to the table? -Make a list of topics, communities, and skills that resonate with you. This will serve as a foundation for identifying your niche. This is your chance to build a career that actually excites you, and not one that you hate coming to every day. ☺️
