Keeping Up with PharmacyX: End of Week Two (and into week 3) As we wrap up our second week with the new system from PharmacyX, it's been a journey with a few bumps along the way, but also some great progress! Like with any new system, there’s been a learning curve. We've faced challenges, especially since some key staff members were on pre-booked leave during the installation and the initial weeks. This created some hiccups, but our team has been amazing at quickly getting to grips with the new processes. One of the major takeaways has been learning to prioritise the right tasks and understanding the intelligent ways the system can help streamline our operations. For example, we initially had issues with duplicate orders due to some background settings, but PharmacyX was quick to step in and resolve these. Their responsiveness has been impressive - they've taken our feedback on board and implemented improvements within just a week. It’s clear they are committed to making their system work efficiently for us. While we're still finding our rhythm, the team is continuously learning and getting more efficient each day. A key piece of advice: make sure you have all your staff available during the transition period, as having the right team members on hand is essential to making the most of the system. We've also realised the importance of having enough computer screens in the dispensary to manage the tasks efficiently - something other pharmacies might want to consider, especially when handling a high volume of items like we do. Overall, it’s been encouraging to see a company so dedicated to improving their product and working closely with us to optimise our pharmacy's workflow. There are still challenges to overcome, but with PharmacyX’s support, we’re confident that we’ll continue to improve week by week!
