We are proud to have participated in the 17th Health Industry Ecology Conference (CPEO 2024) in Boao, Hainan, China recently. This prestigious event, gathered over 8,000 official representatives and more than 60,000 attendees and is a vital platform for innovation and collaboration in China’s health industry. Our leadership team engaged in discussions on advancing medical services and launched our 2024 Retail Strategy Partnership with Sinopharm Distribution, focusing on bone health. We recently had the pleasure of spending two days with students from the SEO London school’s programme. On the first day, Rebecca Kops and Alison Dyson participated in a school employability day in Lloyds of London, helping students practice interview techniques and providing feedback on their performance, areas for improvement and insights into what employers look for when hiring early career talent. The next day we welcomed the students to our Basildon office, where we held interactive workshops showcasing the diverse career opportunities within the pharmaceutical industry. The students also had the opportunity to spend time with our CEO and ask questions, as well as connect with our current graduates and apprentices to learn about their experiences firsthand. SEO London is an incredible charity dedicated to providing educational, training and mentoring support to young people from low socioeconomic and ethnic minority backgrounds, helping them access competitive global industries. It was a pleasure engaging with such talented individuals and sharing the exciting opportunities within the pharma industry.
