Want to know something amazing? When I am consulting, I meet some of the most amazing people taking care of long-term care residents! These DONs, ADONs, nurses, doctors, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, nurse aides, physical therapists/physical therapy assistants, dieticians, and so many other professions do an incredible job and need to be recognized for their contributions more often. I am so honored and blessed to be able to work in an environment of such incredible people, playing a role in the care of these residents. I love the role we play as a pharmacy provider and consultant pharmacists as well in this interdisciplinary care model. I just want to say thank you to all my fellow long-term care health care professionals! You’re making a difference and I commend you for what you do each and every day! Keep up the amazing work, continue to care for those residents in all the amazing ways you do. Have a blessed day all! #ltc #patientcare #healthcare
