really looking forward to hosting this workshop with the UKC Canadian Law Society, on interview skills & crafting the perfect interview pitch. I developed this workshop based on my experiences working in the public and private sector, my experiences in academia, reviewing resumes and helping with hiring panels, and my own interview experience. Attendance will be in person and online, check out the link to register. We will be reviewing tough interview questions and crafting our ‘elevator pitches’. #womeninlaw #uklaw #canadianlaw #labourmarket #interviewtips 🖊 ✏ 📊 📚 👩⚖️

Clinical Transformation Manager | NHS GP | Clinical Safety Officer Leading on digitally-optimised healthcare
Clinical safety in health tech can be a lonely place. So I am delighted to be planning an event to bring clinical safety officers together. We'll share learnings from incidents, hear perspectives on how to achieve innovation with safety at the heart of it, and put our heads together to answer tricky questions about AI in healthcare. What else would you like to see on the agenda?
Exciting times ahead! 😁 Just had a really exciting conversation with the lovely Laura Lee-Rodgers at DrDoctor to discuss hosting the in-person CSO event! More news on this soon, but please do get in touch if you have any ideas or suggestions for the day! Provissionally, we are looking at the end of June, with the aim to make the event hybrid too!

Empowering Dreams, Cultivating Futures 🎓🚀 | Higher Education Professional @ UCR in Project & Program Management | Skilled in Marketing & Social Media | Expert in Career Development | Maximizing Skill Sets for Impact
During today’s, UCR Staff Assembly and UCR LEAD – Staff Conference, I attended a remarkable and insightful session led by Jacob Ravenscraft on “Positive Traits to Fight the 5 Dysfunctions of a Team.” Here are the pivotal lessons that I learned, igniting profound reflections on team dynamics and strategies: 🚀 Don't let fear dictate trust; instead, strive for vulnerability and openness. 💡 Understanding "Working Genius" by Patrick Lencioni sheds light on seven different types of work that resonate with individuals. This awareness enables teams to optimize performance by aligning tasks with strengths and interests. 🤝 Conflict resolution isn't about who's right but what's right. Mastering conflict involves focusing on solutions and fostering a collaborative environment where every voice is valued. 💬 Decision-making in teams requires trust and transparency. Remember, silence often signifies disagreement, emphasizing the importance of creating an environment where everyone feels empowered to speak up. 📌 Prioritizing team buy-in is essential for success. Weighing in allows for commitment and ownership, leading to more robust decisions and outcomes. 👥 Leaders, it's essential to provide space for team input and to lead by example, embracing vulnerability, and demonstrating trust in the process. 🔍 Inspect before you expect—understanding individual and team dynamics is crucial for effective leadership and decision-making. 🌱 It's crucial to foster a healthy culture by acknowledging our faults and trusting our team to lead, especially in areas where we may feel weak. Overall, participating in Jacob's session was a transformative experience. I'm thankful for the chance to learn from such a dedicated and insightful leader. 🌟 #UCR2024StaffConference #UCRStaffAssembly #ProfessionalDevelopment #TeamDynamics #LeadershipInsights

#everfit Wednesday Wellness - I love talking to groups about ‘expansive wellness’. A massive part of being well is being curious about your purpose. Ikigai (the Japanese concept of finding purpose and fulfillment in life) can help with this. This ancient philosophy emphasizes the intersection of what you love, what you're good at, what the world needs, and what you can be paid for. Uncover your reason for being and live a more meaningful life #ikigai #purpose #fulfillment #expansivewellness Click below ⬇️ for resources on how to improve wellbeing & to get in contact for physio/coaching https://lnkd.in/gb8cam7X
At our September event Brad Dixon talked about the role Ikaigi plays in our wellbeing and Anna Veale spoke about the power our thought patterns have on us. We are so grateful to have had so many amazing and inspiring guest speakers in 2023!

When we created this video over the last few weeks, it was so interesting to see every single person relate to the experience of going to the doctor. Friends, friends of friends, even my dad (!) -- everyone had a story to share about how difficult it is to get in touch with doctors offices, or how little the experience has changed despite the rise of digital health. This experience made me realize the size of the problem we're tackling: There are over 200,000 practices of all sizes, specialties, and geographies who are united in their challenge to find and keep enough qualified personnel to handle patient inquiries. Our goal at Third Way Health is to create a win-win for both patients and practices by helping reduce the administrative burden for practices while transforming the experience for patients. That's we get up every day to solve. There's a lot of work to do-- come join us!
We're incredibly excited to share the first of three videos that describe our solution and its impact on patients and practices. Enjoy!
