It is known that in some Venous Reservoir designs, the discharge of the venous line is not poured from the top of the reservoir, but from an area approximately to the venous reservoir blood outlet port. At the same time, filter designs extend to this area to minimize foaming and bubble formation. However, air bubbles coming from the venous line are important. Enough air that can be seen with the naked eye can be directed towards the blood outlet. Minimum reservoir volumes, air entering the reservoir from the venous line and A well-designed integrated arterial filter are important 🤔
