Last week the Garrett County Business Development staff travelled down to Annapolis to attend the annual Mountain Maryland PACE (Positive Attitudes Change Everything) Conference. Relationships drive success, and your business development department was present to represent the Garrett County business community with Maryland Officials! Featured speakers included former Senator George C. Edwards and Governor Wes Moore. We deeply appreciate the Maryland officials that took the time to hear Western Maryland's voice. We especially appreciate the Garrett County officials, businesses, organizations and individuals that made the trek down to represent our home! If you'd like to learn email cnorman@garrettcounty.org. About PACE: Each year the events of PACE serve as an important tool in making Maryland’s political leadership aware of the needs and the specific requests of Allegany and Garrett Counties. This effort is vital when it comes time for Senate or House Committee to decide which program to fund or which project to include in the budget. The Reception and Breakfast provide our Delegation with a strong show of local support for issues they are pressing in Annapolis, and the results have been impressive. However, without the support and participation of quality firms and individuals, these events cannot be held. Learn more... https://lnkd.in/erkXSRgz #garrettcountymd #businessdevelopment
