It was a privilege to join Mason Hayes & Curran LLP and our member Rethink Ireland to celebrate the outcomes of their partnership on the Engage and Educate Fund supported by Department of Rural and Community Development. Commenting on their decision to give to this fund, Will Carmody noted how “education is a great enabler ‘ and his belief that “more equitable access to education will ensure a more equal and just society”. He further highlighted the domino effect from education, thanks to the wonderful projects supported through this fund - Care After Prison ; Culture Migrant Centre; Galway Traveller Fund; and Youth Horizons The stories we heard from the projects were truly inspiring, congratulations to them all on the #impact they make in their communities. In closing the event, Deirdre Mortell noted the 1% Change of MHC – this is such a significant statement of commitment to supporting change through giving back, demonstrating real corporate leadership on giving. Congratulations to all involved! Real case studies of #philanthropy in action.
Thanks for coming!
