It's crucial to develop a PM Checklist form and abide by it as it guides you as a Mechanic/Technician to inspect a car/equipment properly when brought in for service as seen in the video where there's a worn-out rubber boot on the CV joint that prevents sand, dust, and mud from piling up leading to damage to the CV Joint and expensive costs in maintenance if not detected and fixed early. Also leakage from the transmission due to worn-out oil seal hence transmission fluid leaks which could result in failure/damage of your transmission system when you're driving/operating it causing expensive maintenance costs if not detected and fixed early. Develop a habit as a driver/operator of performing a walk-around inspection before starting your car/equipment and after use when you park it as it will help you notice such defects as leakages, flat tires, etc. #maintenance #cars #equipment #operator #mechanic #technician #safety #repair

Expanded Assessment Options for Selected Automotive Trades Applicants Removal of Mandatory Offshore Skills Assessment Program Requirement From 1 April 2023, the need for the following automotive trades from qualified applicants/countries of passport were removed from having to have their skills mandatorily assessed through the Offshore Skills Assessment Program (OSAP). Applicants are now able to have their skills assessed through the Migration Skills Assessment (MSA) program. This change means that the applicants have the option of a less expensive documentary evidence only assessment and removes the need to complete an additional technical assessment.
