Today as I stopped by Red Cross to make a donation for those in Western North Carolina impacted by the hurricane something came to mind. Having worked with and for nonprofits for over 8 years, I've learned that one of the best ways to help those impacted by disasters like hurricanes is to streamline donations. Instead of sending mixed supplies, consider buying *all* of one thing. It helps organizations and volunteers move faster and get essentials to those in need in a more timely manner. Let’s make an impact together! And remember, wanting to help at ALL makes you a kind human.
