Philip Hearsey’s Post

Chain Column III Painted iron chain on a heavy bronze base. The chain was found, discarded or lost, in a field. Time has eroded the iron to create interesting textures. The links are individually twisted and of varying sizes. There are rings in random places. The original use is unknown; Chains have industrial or agricultural uses, or in the past more sinister connections. This is one of a series of inverted chains that have a new decorative life. #sculpture #contemporarysculpture #abstractsculpture #sculptureforinteriors #interiordesign

It's turn to rise up, and speak aloud. I love this piece. It has a wonderful element of surprise.

Speaks ahead of the game. Love the blue chain on top of the dark base.

Wonderful piece Philip. The blue gives it a delicate touch. I also love how you have given a decorative life to the chains.
