I want to share with you a very practical website where you can compare the #costofliving between cities all around the world.
These indices are historical and they are published periodically. It's a snapshot of the current indices at a specific point in time.
This is very helpful when you are planning to change city/country so you can review your new cost of living in the new location.

Dynamic pricing is a model we’ve long seen used in travel, but how do consumers feel about surge pricing when it comes to their favourite fast-food?
Wendy’s recently revealed plans to experiment with dynamic pricing, charging more for the same menu items during peak dining hours. But, with food inflation already high, will brand loyalty be enough? Or will customers seek pricing over product?
In our latest blog post, we look at the pros and cons of this controversial model and offer some tips on how to maintain customer trust during trial transitions. #ConsumerInsight#Disruption#PricingStrategyhttps://lnkd.in/ggp-bC5e
📺 🌃 My late night YouTube browsing had me stumble upon an interesting video about the recent success Chili's has had, "post pandemic".
(give it a watch if you have the time, it isn't too long)
With the rise of delivery culture during the pandemic, dining out became less about the experience and more about convenience. 😬
Many restaurants pivoted toward delivery services 🚗 , often sacrificing quality and brand identity in the process. But Chili’s took a different approach—they simplified their menu, improved the quality of their offerings, and doubled down on the in-house dining experience.
By going back to basics, they’ve revived their brand and brought life back into their restaurants, filling seats with loyal customers.... and even non-loyal customers like myself, lol. 😅
Rather than trying to adapt to a “delivery-first” model, they realized that what made them special was the in-person experience and the value they provide at the table. 🥗
One of the boldest moves Chili’s made was shrinking their menu instead of expanding it.... Something that has really set Chili's apart from it's competing brands.
Rather than stretching into new food trends or categories, they focused on perfecting what they were already known for—Not only are they staying in their lane, but they are making it even better. This reduction simplified operations, improved training efficiency, and allowed staff to focus on delivering consistently high-quality meals, while corporate remodeled buildings, and revived their marketing efforts. 📺
While this may seem like a stretch to relate to digital menus, I firmly believe the services I provide help restaurant owners stay true to their brand identity while keeping pace with industry advancements. Digital menus allow for creativity and flexibility, enabling high-quality photos, videos, and promotional content to be seamlessly integrated. With just a few clicks, themes and fun imagery can be updated to enhance the guest experience without straying from the restaurant’s core values.
I help businesses stay modern while improving the guest experience. Often, my digital menus are the first thing customers see when they walk through the door or pull into the drive-thru, setting the tone for the entire dining experience.
DM me, and I will gladly share more!

According to Jonathan Morris, it was most likely due to Australian milk not frothing (steaming) in the same way as other countries and someone putting a sign up Only Flat Whites, no Cappuccinos.
Others have found the first written references to Flat Whites on menus in Sydney as early as 1985.
It seems plausible that either due to milk limitations or preferences cafes were serving a “flatter” alternative to Capuccinos in Australia and New Zealand. The beverage may have evolved organically between Australia and New Zealand before appearing as a Flat White on menus.
The topic continues to lead to heated debate. 😅
Ultimately, it’s a great Aussie (and Kiwi) invention now enjoyed around the world! And that’s something worth celebrating 🎉
Friends, what do you think?
