𝐅𝐞𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚 𝐁𝐢𝐭 𝐃𝐨𝐰𝐧? 𝐘𝐨𝐮'𝐫𝐞 𝐍𝐨𝐭 𝐀𝐥𝐨𝐧𝐞 Hey Sydney recruitment community, It has been a tough week for some, (me included). Here are 5 things that might have you feeling down: 1. The unpredictable weather 🌧️ 2. Battling sickness 🤒 3. A slower job market 📉 4. Feeling out of your mojo 🚫✨ 5. Being close to Clients and candidates who are feeling overwhelmed and flat 😔 And let's be honest, sometimes we’re all running on low batteries trying to keep it together and put our best foot forward. At the risk of sounding like Dr. Phil , here’s a thought: do something, anything, to help you move forward. Control what you can and influence what you can. Finish your week positively and on a high note! • Make that phone call you’ve been putting off. • Catch up with your candidates, customers, clients, or colleagues for a coffee. Face-to-face meetings are the best – they get the good chemicals like oxytocin flowing. • Take a few minutes to organise your workspace – a tidy space can lead to a tidy mind. • Set small, achievable goals for the day to regain a sense of accomplishment. • Share a positive story or experience with your network to spread some good vibes. This week on my commute home, I’ve been watching some hilarious stand-up sketches by the late, great comedian Sean Lock (RIP). It’s been a fun way to lift my spirits. Do what you need to do to find your joy. It's Friday – recharge over the weekend. Whether it's: • Walks in the park • Footy with your mates or kids • A Netflix series or movie night • Reading a good book • Trying a new hobby or activity Do whatever floats your boat to recharge and tackle Monday head-on. This weekend I reckon I might squeeze in an episode of Ony Fools & Horses for me… Stay positive and keep pushing forward! #𝐑𝐞𝐜𝐫𝐮𝐢𝐭𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐋𝐢𝐟𝐞 #𝐒𝐲𝐝𝐧𝐞𝐲𝐑𝐞𝐜𝐫𝐮𝐢𝐭𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 #𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐲𝐏𝐨𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 #𝐅𝐫𝐢𝐝𝐚𝐲𝐅𝐞𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠 #𝐖𝐞𝐞𝐤𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐑𝐞𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐠𝐞
