I want to #thank our California, Nevada and Arizona teams for their quick #response and efforts in #preparation for Hurricane Hilary. These #teams worked in advance to top-off all generator fuel and strategically staged temporary assets in anticipation of a worst-case scenario. Although the impacted areas saw a fair amount of damage, Verizon’s #network held up very #strong. At peak times we had no more than 16 cell sites across the entire SW and Pacific out of service, mainly due to fiber cuts. Our #focus on #reliability starts during construction of a site by ensuring we have battery and generator backup whenever possible, a #strategy which definitely paid off during this #storm. Thanks again to the local #team and #partners for all your hard #work and post-storm restoration. #iamvz #Verizon #naturaldisaster #teamwork #hardwork #communication #wireless #wirelesscommunications #technology #thankyou #thankyouteam #preparedness #technology #engineering #partnership #hardwork #team #connectivity #connection
The field teams have been busy doing what they do best!! Getting service back for our first responders and our customers.
I'm interested in that green 1953 Willy's Wagon, it's time for me to restore another one. Wouldn't you just love to get that hunk of green rusted metal out of you way?
Great job West team... ❤️
Hilary really Pilloried…them desert Cell Towers held out fine, following excellent covenant diligence, it’d appear.
