The six principles that guide our AI Charter 👇 1. Human in the loop We believe in leveraging AI to make humans more productive, not replaceable. 2. We need a kill switch No process or system should be wholly dependent on AI to ensure that there is always a fail-safe option available. 3. Do no harm AI should be used for good, benefiting both individuals and organizations. 4. There is always an opt-out Alongside an overarching fail-safe option, everyone needs to respect their end users' data privacy wishes and understand that not everyone may be comfortable with AI. 5. Feels Good to Me (FGTM) We promote openness and transparency by open-sourcing our AI models, allowing users to understand how our AI tools work and make informed decisions. 6. Show your work To enable transparency and accountability, we log all prompts between users and chatbots, enabling future audits by our users. These principles underpin our AI Charter – a set of core principles that guide our integration of AI into our platform. We believe that AI should be used with strong ethical guardrails in place. These principles govern our own AI development efforts and ensure we stay customer-focused as we collectively figure out how to use this new technology. #AI #DataEngineering

Some say that #AI is yet to find its use case. And its reputation as a concept is taking a hit due to #AIHallucinations. 👎 But what are AI Hallucinations? Well, sometimes, if an AI can't answer a question, it can "make up" an answer. 🤔 Because of AI's capability to "go rogue" in this way, organisations are nervous about implementing it; you just can't afford to give employees and customers incorrect information. And I'm not using "afford" there for no reason! Technology has grown to be a very powerful thing, especially with the emergence of AI. It’s important to bring key stakeholders together to discuss and strategize before implementing an AI tool. Here are some initial questions that I have found helpful in getting the conversation started: What issues do you hope to solve with AI? What is the goal you think AI can help meet? With answers to those questions, a clear direction can be identified which will help when you start researching the tools that are out there. When you’ve found AI tools that you’re interested in trying, be sure to connect with your technology team or IT provider before doing any testing or trials. They’ll provide expertise and perspective to help ensure the optimal performance and security of your environment and data. And remember…technology is a tool, not a replacement for human touch! While AI can automate & streamline processes, it can't replace the personalized service only humans can provide. #AIgoals #implementingAI
