The Philadelphia Orchestra’s Post

The home of The Philadelphia Orchestra is now, officially and permanently, Marian Anderson Hall! Tonight, we will welcome audiences to the Great Stages Concert, the first performance in the first major concert venue in the world to be named after the legendary contralto, civil rights icon, and Philadelphian. We are deeply honored to inhabit this living memorial to an exceptional Black American artist and look forward to Marian Anderson’s presence inspiring every performance that takes place here.
