Wine Australia proudly led a contingent of 63 wineries from 31 regions to Hong Kong for Vinexpo Asia 2024, the leading trade exhibition for wine and spirits professionals in the region. This event saw participation from over 14,000 trade visitors across 60 countries, providing a platform for exhibitors worldwide to showcase their brands. The Australian Wine Pavilion has become a key feature at this event, allowing producers to connect with influential buyers, importers, distributors, and sommeliers globally.

Paul Turale, Wine Australia’s General Manager of Marketing, emphasised the importance of in-person connections for the wine sector. He noted the strong interest from the trade in the diversity and quality of Australian wines during the three-day event, highlighting the optimism surrounding opportunities in Asian markets. The new Australian Wine national branding, which embodies the adventure and diversity of Australian winemaking, was also unveiled, adding a fresh appeal to the pavilion's presentations.
