Antonio previously worked with Phoenix for ten (10) years, and after a two (2) break, he returned in 2022. Over the last few seasons, Antonio has referred roughly 12 people to work or apply to work with the Phoenix Ground Contract. We thank Antonio for his tireless effort to help us find good-quality coworkers. In his regular duties, Antonio operates a tractor for a weekly route. He has an odd route that supports three (3) Crew Leaders instead of just one. He does a great job and takes good care of his equipment. We thank Antonio for his great work and his efforts in recruiting! Antonio Long – Tractor Operator Grounds, Redstone Arsenal, AL

Me: Well that’s how your treating me right now when I asked to go home for a few days, I’ve been out for 2 weeks. Do you go home? Dispatcher: Well ya! Me: Ok then, why are we having this conversation? Dispatcher: because your hired to be a truck driver and we have freight to move. Me: You know what? I’m done, get me back to the yard. Dispatcher: Wait? What you mean? Me: Did I studder? Route me back to the yard I’m done! 🤣🤣🤣

💥 It is important to always assign a flagman to an equipment working on site, to prevent collision of two equipment, injury or accident. A flagman is someone who signals with a flag. They make use of flags of different colors; but mostly two colors are more popular, i.e., Red – For Stop and Green – For Go. He is a personality which we cannot do without especially on the road construction work. They have a wide range of duties. 💥 Duties Of A Flagman √ Help vehicles move safely in their work areas, and help the drivers & operators avoid hazards and the potential of hitting people and other equipment. √ They are another set of eyes to ensure that work goes on safely. √ Controlling the Operation of Vehicles on Site, and ensure safe parking. √ Flagman is also required to control the movement of the following vehicles on site: •Excavator, Tipper Truck, JCB, Grader, Bulldozer, Water / Diesel Tanker, Delivery Trucks, Bobcat. √ Safe distance from rotating equipment & excavation edges, giving Signals. 💥 C

Warehousing | Assembly | Material Handling | Exploring Software App Devolopment | Open to Exciting Opportunities
Recently saw a job posting for a Forklift Operator job through a known staffing agency. It listed: "Compensation and Environment: $19.00 per hour Around $90,000 per year 60+ hour weeks available Large Growing Company! Benefits and Weekly Pay!" Math isn't my strong suit.. But I'm definitely not working 91 hours a week to hit 90k a year at $19 an hour. 90k a year comes out to $43 an hour (+/- a few bucks depending on OT and days off) in a 40 hour work week. About $29 an hour at 60 hours a week. What am I missing here? Is the staffing company just offering $19 an hour and pocketing the other $24 an hour? Is it false advertising? Will this staffing agency negotiate on the hourly to produce a quality employee for their client? Am I really, really bad at math or just completely missing something? #EmploymentSearchFrustration #StaffingAgency #Recruiters #RecruiterAgency
